What do a former Brazilian tennis pro, a Call of Duty engineer, and my weekly pickup soccer striker sensei have in common? 😂
Meet Diego Toledo.
Born and raised in Florianópolis, Brazil, Diego went from high-level junior tennis to studying Computer Science in the U.S., eventually building an unexpected career across Disney, Call of Duty, Hulu, and Meta.
We talk about choosing your hard, following unexpected paths, his love of movies and VFX, the journey from tennis into technology, Brazil and Florianópolis, soccer, and even his hilarious breakdown of the Monte Carlo algorithm.
This conversation is a reminder that your path doesn't have to look perfect from the beginning. Sometimes the hardest choice leads you somewhere you never imagined.
What hard are you choosing right now? 👇
